스웨덴에 오고 나서 그동안 하지 못한 것이 있었다면 바로 내 가장 중요한 취미 활동이라고 할 수 있는 피아노 연주. 혹시나 해서 한국에서 악보를 조금 들고 오긴 했는데 아직까지 피아노를 칠 수 있는 장소를 못 찾아서 치지 못하고 있었다. 그동안 몇 군데 알아낸 곳이 있는데,
After coming to Sweden, I couldn't do my best hobby activity, that is, playing the piano. I brought some of piano pieces from Korea, but could not find any places to play the piano. But I finally found some places...

1. Nymble 3층의 Piano Room (Piano Room at 3rd floor of Nymble)
학생회관 건물인 Nymble에 보면 도착 첫날 Mingling party를 했던 곳이 바로 Piano Room이다. 그때는 정신 없어서 미처 물어볼 생각을 못했는데, 어제 학생회 사무실 찾아가서 물어보니 오후 4시까지는 특별히 예약이나 이런 거 없이 그냥 이용할 수 있다고 한다. (사람이 많을 경우 문을 닫고 치라고 하는데 그 정도야 뭐 원래 당연한 거니까...)
The very place that we had a mingling party is Piano Room. I didn't asked whether it is possible to use that piano for being too tired. Yesterday, a member of student union said that it could be used freely until 4 pm, and I should close the door when playing.

2. L-building 51번 강의실 (Lecture room L51)
처음 들었던 수업인 Artificial Neural Network의 월요일 수업이 이루어지는 곳이다. (같은 수업이어도 요일에 따라 수업 장소가 다른 경우가 많다-_-) 자그마한 업라이트 피아노가 한 대 있는데, 며칠 전 공강 시간에 쳐보니 해머 상태가 엉망진창이라서(뭐 아예 부러져서 없다든가..) 도저히 쓸 수 없는 피아노다. 그나마 원음에 가까운 소리가 나는 건반을 다섯손가락으로 셀 수 있을 정도였다.;
This place is where my first class, Artificial Neural Network was held on. (Here, some classes are held in different places even if they are in the same course.) There is a small upright piano. However, it has very bad conditions even that its hammers are broken. Just a few of keys has original sound.

3. E-building 31번 강의실 (Lecture room E31)
오늘 우연히 발견한 장소. Artificial Neural Network 랩 시간을 마치고 기숙사로 돌아가려고 나오는데 갑자기 누군가 피아노 건반을 하나씩 누르는 소리가 들려서 따라가니 자그마한 그랜드 피아노가 하나 있었다. 스웨덴 애들인지 다른 나라 애들인지는 모르겠지만 여자애 둘이서 빈 강의실에서 공부하다가 심심했는지 피아노를 만지고 있었던 모양. 그래서 피아노 쳐도 되냐고 하니까 얼마나 배웠냐고 물어보길래 여차저차 대답하니 오~(-_-) 이러면서 쳐보라길래 마침 악보를 가지고 있었던(...) 슈베르트 즉흥곡을 조금 쳐주었다. 이게 스웨덴 와서 제대로 쳐본 첫번째 연주. 피아노 조율 상태는 안 좋았지만 일단 모든 건반이 소리가 나고(....) 페달이 좀 뻑뻑하긴 해도 작동은 했기에(...) 그럭저럭 칠 수 있었다.
I found here today, occasionally. It was when I was going to home after a lab class of Artificial Neural Network. Suddenly I heard somebody touching the piano keys, and traced it. I'm not sure that they were Swedish or not, but anyway, they seemed to be bored with studying for a while there. When I asked, they said that it's ok to play the piano, so I played some pieces of Schubert's impromptu. The status of that piano was not so good, but it was playable.

4. 기숙사 지역의 Music Room (Music Room of Lappis)
기숙사 지역에 보면 중간에 유치원으로 쓰이는 건물이 있는데, 그 건물에 Lappis Pub이라는 술집과 지하에 Music Room 등 몇 가지 편의시설이 있는 모양이다. 그 Music Room에 피아노가 있다는데 아직 쳐보지는 못했고, 거기를 이용하려면 기숙사 지역 학생 단체(?)에 일정 금액을 내고(비싸지는 않다) 인터넷으로 예약한 후 사용해야 한다. 피아노만 있는 것이 아니라 드럼과 전자기타를 위한 앰프 등도 갖춰져 있다고 하는데, 인터넷에 올라와있는 방 사진을 보니 피아노가 일단 악보 놓는 받침대가 부러져 없는 것이 상태가 영 안 좋아보인다.;;;
There is a kindergarden building in Lappis, which has Lappis pub, music room and some other things. I've heard that a piano is there, but I should register to some student organization of Lappis with a little amount of money. It requires also internet reservation to use. There are not only the piano also drums and amplifier for electric guitars. But the piano seems to have bad conditions according to a picture uploaded on internet.

아마 내가 가보지 않은 다른 강의실에도 피아노가 꽤 있을 것으로 생각된다. 신기한 건 음악하고는 전혀 관련이 없는 건물들인데 왜 강의실에 피아노가 있을까 하는 점. 물론 그래서인지 관리가 전혀 안 되고 있는 것 같지만.. ㅜㅜ; 아마도 상태가 가장 좋은 피아노는 Nymble에 있는 것이 아닐까 싶은데 그건 아직 쳐보지 못했다.
Perhaps, there may be more pianos in other lecture rooms which I have not visited. It is very interesting that pianos are in the lecture rooms which don't have any relation to music. Of course, for that reason, pianos seem to be not managed. I think the best piano would be one in Nymble, but I have not played it yet.
